I rarely hand build, but when I do, it almost always results in some of my absolute favorite pieces.
This large dish features a beautifully undulating rim, a large shallow surface, a gently ribbed underside, and a small thrown pedestal foot.
Glazed in a muted mid tone slate blue, the surface is satin and soft.
This would make a wonderful fruit bowl, or a platter for serving noodles, pasta, or other family style meals.
Approximately 9.5-10" in diameter, with a height of around 2.5".
I can't wait to see where this lovely piece finds a new home!
