This little jar was thrown as one piece, then separated into lid and jar at the trimming stage. It's one of my very favorite pieces to make.
The glaze is a lovely variegated satin blue, which highlights the carved surface.
Perfect for storing jewelry on your bedside table, for hiding away pills in the bathroom, or as a small desk tidy for loose change and maybe a couple of spare keys.
Jars also make a great gift, and you can fill them with a delicious treat - a couple of beautiful locally made truffles, for example.
White clay, white satin liner glaze.
Around 2.5" tall, and just under 3.5" diameter.
Note: this jar does not feature a maker's mark on the bottom (but it instead has a beautifully designed bottom design!)

Please note that all goods are made by hand and as a result may display slight irregularities or imperfections. Where relevant, I have tried to include photos of these imperfections. These marks celebrate the hand of the maker. If you prefer a guaranteed "perfect" product, there are plenty of high street solutions out there!
