This raku piece features a bold geometric design, showing the raw, unglazed clay which turns black when fired in this method. The white surface features crackles, one of the hallmarks of the raku firing process.
This piece is non functional, and not food safe. That means it should not be used to contain any food or beverage, and in fact can not be used for the containment of any liquids at all (although it will work as a planter; just be sure to keep the plant in an inner pot).
Best suited to dry containment of plants (air plants) or dried flowers, stems, and so on. Also lovely just as it is.
Approximately 3" tall, and around 3" diameter. ___
