These super rustic Everything Cups were made to test my Seascape glazing pattern using different glazes on a new clay. The results were completely different from the expected outcome, as often happens when testing glazes.
The taller cup on the left is a very muted green on the bottom, variegated light blues in the middle - with a thin line of a darker blue at the base of this area - and a thin, rustic, barely-there white on top, with a couple of funky pronounced drips on one side (usually I wipe away these drips away for a clean look, but occasionally I leave them for added character). Approximately 3.5' tall, 3" diameter. Could be used as a small drinking vessel, Q-tip holder, or maybe a small succulent planter. Could also work as a desk tidy for a handful of favorite pens and pencils.
The smaller cup on the right is a quieter, even more muted version, with a soft faded green overlapping the white. Approximately 2.5" tall, 2.75" diameter. Would be a wonderful tea light holder, or for small portions of snacks (nuts, etc.)
Speckled brown clay, satin white interior liner glaze, thinly applied.
The price is per cup (they are not sold together).
Please note that all goods are made by hand and as a result may display slight irregularities or imperfections. Where relevant, I have tried to include photos of these imperfections. These marks celebrate the hand of the maker. If you prefer a guaranteed "perfect" product, there are plenty of high street solutions out there!
