This little jar was thrown as one piece, then separated into lid and jar at the trimming stage. It's one of my very favorite pieces to make.
The glaze features two different blues that blend together in clouds of color, and the surface is an incredibly soft, tactile satin-matte.
Perfect for storing jewelry on your bedside table, for hiding away pills in the bathroom, or as a small desk tidy for loose change and maybe a couple of spare keys.
Jars also make a great gift, and you can fill them with a delicious treat - a couple of beautiful locally made truffles, for example.
White clay, white satin liner glaze.
Note: Glaze is patchy (white showing through) on one part of the lid (see photos); it is therefore a second, and is priced to match.
Around 3.25" tall, and 3.25" diameter. ___
Please note that all goods are made by hand and as a result may display slight irregularities or imperfections. Where relevant, I have tried to include photos of these imperfections. These marks celebrate the hand of the maker. If you prefer a guaranteed "perfect" product, there are plenty of high street solutions out there!
